Victorious actress comments that Nickelodeon refused to cut inappropriate scene

From the departure of the official biographical book of Jennette McCurdy, comments related to the way in which Nickelodeon treated some of its minor actors have come to light. Almost all statements are addressed to a particular person, Dan Schneider , creator of quite popular series such as Drake & Josh, Icarly and Victorious .

In recent conversations, Daniella Monet , who played Trina Vega in Victorious , he told Insider that some of the actors' outfits in the program were not appropriate for their Age and that she wouldn't even use some of that today as an adult. However, they had to use in quotes for contract reasons with the company.

The girl also remembered the moment she contacted Nickelodeon on a show scene in which she ate a pickled while applying lip shine. Monet expressed her concern because she was too sexual to transmit it. Even with this feedback, the television channel had no qualms about spending said episode in the air.

Monet also emphasized the male predominance in the writers' rooms of Schneider . As the media that interviewed it points out, none of Schneider programs accredited more than two writers in all of their careers; ‘Zoey 101’ and ‘Drake & Josh’ They had zero. Something that apparently changes from the departure of the director.
